Persimmon PLC on Thursday said its new chief financial officer will start in a month’s time.
The York, England-based housebuilder announced in November that it had recruited Andrew Duxbury, finance director of construction firm Galliford Try Holdings PLC, as its new CFO, but hadn’t provided a start date.
On Thursday, Persimmon said Duxbury will join the company and board on June 17.
He relieves Dean Finch, the company’s chief executive, who has managed financial affairs on an interim basis since Jason Windsor left the company in September to join Edinburgh-based fund manager abrdn PLC.
Persimmon shares were up 1.0% to 1,448.50 pence each in London on Thursday morning.
