Guild Esports PLC - London-based esports business - In the six months to March 31, pretax loss narrows to £1.8 million from £2.3 million a year prior. But revenue falls to £2.1 million from £3.7 million reflecting a challenging macroeconomic environment and a significant, one-off tournament victory in 2023 which increased revenue. Guild Studios’ revenue multiplies to £586,000 from £109,000, representing a significant new revenue stream. ‘We are cautiously optimistic that our efforts will continue to drive growth and success as we navigate through the remainder of 2024 and beyond,’ company says.
