Unemployment in Ireland jumps to 4.2% in June

Ireland’s unemployment rate rose to 4.2% in June, data from the Central Statistics Office showed on Wednesday.

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 4.2% in June, up from 4.0%.

Year-on-year, it edged down to 4.2% from 4.4% in June 2023.
