Frontier Developments PLC on Friday announced that its creative management simulation game Planet Coaster 2 will be released this autumn.
The Cambridge, England-based video games developer and publisher said the release for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will fall within its current financial year 2025 that started on June 1.
In Planet Coaster 2, players construct a theme park.
The release reiterated that another creative management simulation game is planned for financial 2027.
Frontier Chief Executive Officer Jonny Watts said: ‘I am thrilled to reveal Planet Coaster 2 for release later this year, and I am delighted by the enthusiasm and excitement fans of the genre have shown following yesterday’s announcement. I can’t wait to see the amazing parks our players will create!’
Frontier shares rose 7.6% to 269.50 pence each on late Friday morning in London.
