China’s retail sales slowed to two percent in June, official data showed Monday, as the world’s second largest economy struggled to boost consumption.

‘In June, the total retail sales of consumer goods went up by 2.0% year on year,’ Beijing’s National Bureau of Statistics said in a statement. May’s figure was 3.7%.
