Impax Asset Management Group PLC on Wednesday promoted Simon O’Regan to chair, as Sally Bridgeland stepped down.
Impax is a London-based asset manager, focused on investments in the renewable energy, and waste and water management sectors.
Impax said that Bridgeland has retired as chair and non-executive director.
She has stepped down after serving a nine-year term as a director, including as chair since December 2020.
Impax has named O’Regan as its new chair, effective immediately. O’Regan was Impax’s senior independent director. He has been a non-executive director of Impax since 2020.
Impax noted that O’Regan has forty years’ experience in the insurance, pensions and asset management industries.
Chief Executive Ian Simm said: ‘With his deep expertise of the asset management and pensions sectors, Simon is perfectly placed to succeed Sally and I look forward to working with him closely as we continue to grow and diversify the business.’
Shares in Impax Asset Management were down 1.6% to 403.50 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon.
