James Latham PLC - Hertfordshire-based distributor of timber, panels and decorative surfaces - Tells annual general meeting that revenue from April 1 to July 31 was £127 million, similar to £128 million a year prior. Volumes however picked up 3.1% year-on-year. ‘Margins remain consistent with the second half of the previous year. Overheads and resulting profit are in line with market expectations,’ James Latham says, adding that most of its customers remain busy and are ‘more confident than at the same time last year.’ The company will release its results for the six months to September 30 on November 28.
