St James’s Place PLC - Cirencester, Gloucestershire-based wealth manager - Confirms appointment of Caroline Waddington as chief financial officer, effective immediately and having received the necessary regulatory approvals. Her predecessor, Craig Gentle, currently remains as a director. He will step down from this role on October 11, but will subsequently stay at St James’s Place ‘for a short period to facilitate an orderly handover’. Waddington moves to St James’s Place from UBS Group AG, where she was CFO of Credit Suisse UK and chief operating officer for Credit Suisse International. Gentle had been CFO since 2018, having joined St James’s Place as chief risk officer in 2016.
