EnSilica PLC - Oxfordshire, England-based chip maker of mixed signal application specific integrated circuits, or ASICs - Wins an ASIC design services contract with an unnamed ‘prestigious’ and ‘globally renowned’ supplier of power and propulsion systems used in the air, at sea and on land. The contract is worth around £2 million and will begin in November, with revenue to run into its next financial year, supporting market expectations. Chief Executive Officer Ian Lankshear says: ‘This contract positions EnSilica with the prospect of further long-term contracts with this customer beyond this design services phase, to support the ASIC through the development phase and into production.’

Current stock price: 48.88 pence, up 1.8% in London on Monday afternoon
