Avation PLC - Singapore-based commercial passenger aircraft leasing firm - Signs a twelve-year lease agreement with JCAS Airways Co Ltd, a Tokyo-based airline, for a new ATR 72-600 aircraft. This lease is the first of ten ATR 72-600 aircrafts ordered by Avation in May this year, under its long-term purchase contract with ATR. The aircraft is due to be delivered in October 2025, as the first aircraft in JCAS’ fleet.

Chair Jeff Chatfield said: ‘We are pleased to confirm the addition of JCAS Airways to our customer list. By choosing the industry-leading low carbon footprint ATR72-600 aircraft, we are investing in sustainable aviation and contributing to much needed connectivity in the Japanese archipelago.’

Current stock price: 167.50 pence, down 0.9% in London on Friday morning
