Ireland’s trade surplus extended in September, data published by the Central Statistics Office showed on Friday.
Its trade surplus more than doubled in September to €11.00 billion from €5.42 billion in August, representing a €5.58 billion increase.
Exports of goods for September reached the highest monthly figure on record, jumping 23% to €22.02 billion from €17.95 billion in August.
Imports in September declined 12% to €11.02 billion from €12.53 billion the prior month.
