Informa PLC on Tuesday noted healthy growth this year as it aims for a further climb in underlying revenue.
The London-based business information publisher and events organiser said it had double-digit underlying revenue growth across the first ten months of 2024 at about 11%, including 11% in business-to-business markets and 10% in academic markets.
Informa reported growth in all major regions, and highlighted a market expansion in India, Middle East & Africa.
The company added that structural growth in B2B and Academic markets created a ‘strong platform for growth’.
Under the 2025-2028 ’one Informa’ programme, the company aims to deliver sustainable 5% or more underlying revenue growth ‘and consistently strong shareholder returns.’
Informa reconfirmed financial guidance for 2024, expecting revenue of over £3.5 billion, up at least 9.7% from £3.19 billion in 2023, and adjusted operating profit of over £975 million, up at least 14% from £854 million.
Informa shares fell 2.1% to 837.60 pence each on Tuesday morning in London.
