Dunelm Group PLC - Leicester-based home furnishings retailer - Acquires Irish soft furnishings retailer Homefocus Group Ltd. Dunelm doesn’t provide any financial details for the acquisition, which adds 13 stores across the Republic of Ireland and an online platform. The FTSE 250 constituent says the acquisition ‘will not be material’ to its financial performance. However, Dunelm says Homefocus, which has been in business for more than 80 years, gives it immediate access to a homewares market worth over £1 billion. The deal marks Dunelm’s first entry into the Irish market.
