Corero Network Security PLC - London-based cybersecurity firm specialising in distributed denial of service protection - Secures a regional partnership with Forte Telecom, one of the largest telecommunications providers in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The three-year contract is worth $1.2 million. Corero will use its new 400G appliance to deliver DDoS protection, and reduce hardware and operational complexity. This offers Forte Telecom ‘significant’ cost savings and future-proof scalability.
Chief Executive Officer Carl Herberger says: ‘I am pleased to announce this new deal with Forte, a strategically important customer acquisition for Corero as we aim to further consolidate our reputation as a leading provider of DDoS protection and mitigation services in Latin America.’
