DIRECTOR DEALINGS: Canal+ board member and new Tekmar CEO buy shares

The following is a round-up of share dealings by London-listed company directors and managers announced this week and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Trifast PLC - East Sussex, England-based maker of industrial fastenings - London-listed investor Rockwood Strategic PLC buys 500,000 shares on December 20, January 24 and January 27 at 80.00p to 81.96p, worth £407,238 in total. Nicholas Mills, a Trifast director, is connected to Rockwood and now is interested in 21.2 million shares, a 15.6% stake.

Ramsdens Holdings PLC - Middlesbrough, England-based financial services provider and retailer - Chief Executive Officer Peter Kenyon and Chief Financial Officer Martin Clyburn exercise options for 150,000 new shares in total and then sell all of them at 226p, worth £339,000, on Monday. Kenyon sells 90,000 shares and Clyburn 60,000. Their holdings remain at 1.2 million shares, a 3.6% stake, and 209,375, a 0.7% stake, respectively.

Canal+ SA - Paris-based media and entertainment firm - Pierre-Ignace Bernard, a supervisory board member, buys 84,500 shares at £1.94 to £1.99, worth £166,060, on January 14 to 23.

Tekmar Group PLC - County Durham, England-based technology and services provider for global offshore energy markets - Chief Executive Officer Richard Turner buys 799,313 shares at 7.5 pence, worth £59,948, on Monday. The shares are his only holding, having joined Tekmar in September.

Wise PLC - London-based money transfer provider - General Counsel Jessica Winter sells 5,000 shares at £10.75 and £11.01, worth £54,388, on Thursday last week.

BWA Group PLC - mining investor with licences in Cameroon and Canada - Chair Jonathan Wearing buys 500,000 shares, taking holding to 239.2 million shares, a 25.7% stake, on Wednesday last week. BWA doesn’t provide the price at which the shares are purchased, but Aquis Stock Exchange reports a trade of 500,000 shares on that day at 0.15p, worth £750.
