Ireland’s harmonised consumer price index inflation accelerated in January, preliminary data published by the Central Statistics Office showed Friday.
The harmonised CPI rose to 1.5% on-year in January, from 1.0% in December.
Notably, the harmonised index excluding energy and unprocessed food is estimated to have sped up to an annual increase of 2.0% in January from 1.6% in December.
