Hardide PLC - Bicester, England-based provider of advanced surface coating technology - Three directors buy 414,031 shares at 6.3 pence to 6.9p, worth about £26,750, on Monday. Non-Executive Chair Andrew Magson now has 429,434 shares, a 0.5% stake. Chief Executive Officer Matt Hamblin has 255,951 shares, and Technical Director Yuri Zhuk has 221,189, each a 0.3% stake.

Last week, Hardide said its pretax loss widened to £1.4 million in the financial year that ended September 30 from £1.2 million the year before. Revenue fell by 15% to £4.7 million from £5.5 million, in what Magson described as a ‘challenging year’.

Current stock price: 6.95p, up 3.0% in London on Tuesday
