SolGold PLC on Friday said it has settled litigation proceedings with its former Chief Executive Officer Darryl Cuzzubbo.
The Ecuador-focused exploration company said it has made a payment to Cuzzubbo in respect of the settlement. The terms of the settlement are otherwise confidential.
The company said it no longer contends that Cuzzubbo ‘engaged in any serious misconduct’ while working for SolGold.
The firm said it agrees that its view of the company’s operation differed to Cuzzubbo’s at the time of his termination.
SolGold shares were up 0.9% to 6.63 pence in London on Friday morning.
