IN BRIEF: DP Poland sales rise as completes Pizzeria 105 acquisition

DP Poland PLC - operator of Domino’s pizza stores and restaurants in Poland and Croatia - System sales in Poland are 66.3zł million, about £13.2 million, in the first quarter, up 6.5% from a year before, or up 2.9% on a like-for like basis. DP Poland completed the acquisition of Mastergrupa SP Zoo, trading as Pizzeria 105, in the first quarter for 42.3zł million, around £8.5 million. Pizzeria 105 is the fourth-largest pizza brand in Poland, with 90 stores and 76 franchisees. DP Poland says the acquisition is part of its new focus on franchising, as it sells down corporate stores.

In Croatia, system sales are €1.0 million in the first quarter, up 13% on a year before, both in total and like-for-like.

DP Poland will announce its results for 2024 in mid-May. It confirmed guidance for pre-IFRS 16 adjusted earnings of £1.2 million, up from break-even by this measure in 2023. The company on Wednesday provides no guidance for 2025.
