The US non-farm unemployment rate remained at 3.6% in May, amid the addition of 75k jobs, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The market had been expecting the jobless rate to remain at 3.6%, though with addition of 177k jobs.
Average hourly earnings increased by 6 cents, or 0.2% to $27.83, below expectations of a 0.3% improvement.
