UK unemployment rate steady at 3.8%; wages rise 3.4%

The UK unemployment rate was steady at 3.8% in the three months from February to April, according to the Office for National Statistics.

Average weekly earnings, excluding bonuses, rose by 3.4%, ahead of market expectations of a 3.1% rise.
