US durable goods orders fall unexpectedly in November

US durable goods orders fell 2.0% in November on-month to $242.6bn, according to the Census Bureau.

The market had expected orders to rise 0.2%.

Core durable goods orders, which exclude transportation, were flat, missing expectations of a 1.5% rise.
